Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

My Dad was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease in 2002. He suffered from it until he passed away in 2007. Every hour someone in the UK is told they have Parkinsons. It is a terrible disease.

I have combined two fears of mine, flying and heights, and will be doing a tandem skydive on the 30th October 2010 in aid of Parkinsons UK.

The company i work for,Berry Bros and Rudd, have very generously offered to match whatever amount i am able to raise,so with your help and theirs i am hoping to raise as much money as i possibly can.

£26 could pay for a Parkinsons nurse to answer calls on their helpline for an hour. £150 is enough to fund a Parkinsons nurse for a day,and £1000 could fund a cutting edge research project for a week. Parkinsons UK's work is TOTALLY dependent on donations.

This is a cause that it very close to my heart,so wherever you are in the world please support me and this amazing charity.I know my Dad is probably looking down on me,shaking his head, laughing and saying to himself..'what a plonker to be jumping out of a plane',but i also know that he would be extremely proud.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

Thanks for your support and taking the time to look at my Just Giving page.

Tony.
