Story

<p>Some people would you pay good money to see me without any clothes on, yes apparently&nbsp;it is true..</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Film of event&nbsp; <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8jZBU3tyTs">National Trust Vid</a>&nbsp; ( I'm on it 3 times&nbsp;)&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AfwXvSpviU">Marie Curie Vid</a></p> <p>Newspaper reports&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2005512/Thats-nude-world-record-Skinnydippers-hundreds-brave-chill-windy-Welsh-beach.html">Daily Mail</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/2011/06/20/skinny-dipping-world-record-attempt-on-rhossili-beach-91466-28905796/">Wales Online&nbsp;</a></p> <p>And &nbsp;<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YmQSIT9mX4">WHY WE DID IT </a></p> <p>&nbsp; At 8am on Sunday 19th June, at the northern end of Rhossili beach, I and&nbsp;407 other brave souls SMASHED the&nbsp;world record for the largest mass skinny dip whilst at the same time raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>I now hold a 1/408th share in a world record !!</strong></p> <p>There was a stiff breeze, getting us well prepared for our dip. We had to wait on the advice of Lifeguards for the tide to turn at 8pm. We lined up, were counted, we did some mexican waves and starjumps, then stipped off for a&nbsp;dash into the sea.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">After the wait the sea was exhilarating. Much shouting and diving through the plentiful waves.&nbsp;</span>I<span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">t was a shame to get out afterwards, and some went back in. The atmosphere was brilliant, we all made some very quick buddies and I dont think i heard anyone say they were cold or didnt want to do it again another time ( or even tomorrow ). Adrenalin is a wonderful thing.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">My updated pictures contain the proof of&nbsp;my day&nbsp;( suitably sanitised ) so please do&nbsp;look. Everything is obsured or too small to see, Ha Ha.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">A big thankyou to the organisers and all the wonderful people I met on the beach. There was&nbsp;a great buzz from 408 people acting together to show that they could all do something positive&nbsp;that a few weeks ago they might not have dared.</span></span></p> <p><strong>So dig deep,&nbsp;show&nbsp;extreme support for the&nbsp;cause for which&nbsp;I threw caution, AND EVERYTHING ELSE, to the wind.</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>As well as breaking&nbsp;"skinnydip"&nbsp;records we have collectively&nbsp;raised in well&nbsp;excess of our team target of&nbsp;&pound;13,000. Now at least <span style="color: #ff0000;">&pound;19,500</span>......&nbsp; <a href="http://www.justgiving.com/teams/skinnydip2011/">See Latest</a>&nbsp; and help us top &pound;20k !!</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks again to everyone that has supported me so far.</p> <p>Tony&nbsp;&nbsp; xx</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
