Fundraising for Leo Lion Foundation
DId it / I finished the Monaco Ironman 70.3 event. Now its your turn......any contribution would be appreciated.
Ironman 70.3 is the fastest growing triathlon series in the world and the Monaco event is seen as the most prestigious race on the circuit. The race consists of a 1.2 mile swim, a 56-mile bike and a 13.1 mile run, which adds up to 70.3 miles of racing. I am raising money for the CoinsFoundation, the charity supported by Total Objects, which is to use the funds to support the introduction of microfinance and micro health insurance into the community of Kawama in Zambia. All the money raised in sponsorship will be used in Kawama, as the charity’s overheads are covered by Total Objects and COINS-Global. Ric Law, the Foundation’s chief executive, has provided us with some ideas as to how they will use the money raised. Sustainable businesses can be set up for surprising little money. £250 will provide a starter-pack for a subsistence farmer to create a small-holding based on sustainable agricultural practice, including water pump, training and initial crop seed. A manual brick-making machine costs only £977 an can change the lives of a community. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. If you are in Monaco for the Rendez-Vous - your support at the event will be appreciated. Please dig deep and donate now. Many thanks* Charities pay a small fee for our service.
