RunforAlex

In December 2017, just two weeks before his 14th birthday and 2 days before Christmas, my eldest grandson Alex lost his fight against Stage 4 Brain Cancer. He fought a very brave fight and spent his final few months filled with life events from his “bucket list”. He was positive & happy despite all that life had thrown at him as well as humble & thoughtful of others to the last, a real inspiration in a cynical world.
As a family & with great friends we are continuing his fight against cancer, running & riding to raise money for CLIC Sargent to help other children faced with life threating situations and to try & find a cure.
This is my opportunity to give a little back to the charity that has been such a big help to Alex and our family, and to help them continue to support other children and their families affected by cancer and fighting for their future.
