On 15th October 2013 my family's life changed when my 6 year old nephew Harrison (aka Harribo) was diagnosed with Acute Lymbolastic Leukaemia (ALL).  Life for our family is now regular chemo, blood tests, transfusions, lumbar punctures, fevers, low immune system and hospital admissions.

Harrison has 3 years of chemo ahead until he has a full remission.  He has amazed us all with his energy, understanding and strength and he still manages to smile throughout it all.

As a family we have decided to take part in The Nuts Challenge.  It's a 5k muddy assault course with over 100 obstacles, have a look at http://www.thenutschallenge.co.uk

We have decided to help raise funds for the Emily Ash Trust while we complete The Nuts Challenge.

The Emily Ash Trust is a small charity which looks after families in Kent, Surrey & Sussex and their ethos is to 'bring sparkle back to children with cancer'.  They have taken the time to get to know Harribo and his older brother Myles (age 11), and have provided support for the whole family as well as hosting sibling days, family days, parent pamper evenings, etc.

By donating through this page we will collectively raise funds to help Emily Ash Trust support children like Harribo and give them moments of pleasure to remember.
