My story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our page – Scarlett was born with the rare genetic condition EB in June 2011 and lives in Crick.
When our friends asked us to join them to take on the challenging Yorkshire Three Peaks walk to raise funds for DebRA, who have provided amazing support for Scarlett and her parents, we had no hesitation.
No easy feat – we are not seasoned hikers or long distance walkers but we have lots of enthusiasm and determination! For our part, we have the kit, the gym visits have increased and practice walks have started – now all we need is your support to reach our target.

DEBRA helps families affected by EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa), a genetic condition which causes the skin to blister and shear at the slightest friction. DEBRA provides a team of nurses and social care staff to work with families affected by EB and commissions world-leading research into the condition.
