My name is Tony and I am one of the lucky few selected to climb one of the biggest live volcanoes in the world; Mt. Cotopaxi, Ecuador.
I have been given this opportunity to prove just how well lung and heart transplants work. Little over two years ago I had to take a break walking up my stairs, but thanks to the amazing work at The Royal Brompton and Harefield hospital, and of course, my donor, who without I wouldn't be here today, I had a double lung transplant and now I am going up a volcano.
All donations will go towards getting Harefield a new organ care system which enables transporting of donor organs and extends the transportation window from 3 hours to 8 hours.
We will be grateful for any donation, big or small. Thank you.
