Story

With just over 72 hours to go, the training is over and we are all eating pasta like mad.

The tension is building in the team as we all decide what to wear on the day??? The weather looks like it'll be a bit rough, so I'm not sure if Kevin will be wearing his tie or not. I realise that the thought of all of us in lycra is really rather disturbing, so please be assured that we are banning cameras from the event.

To all of you who helped us smash through our first 3 fund-raising targets - a mighty big thank you!

We'll let you know how we got on after the event - just as soon as we've got our breath back!

And if you haven't already had a chance to donate, please encourage us in our efforts over these final few days.

The Great Scottish Run is on 6th September - 13.1 miles of sweat and blisters - and we would be delighted if you could make a donation to our chosen charity, St Andrew's Hospice.

St Andrew's Hospice provides specialist palliative care services - the total care of patients with progressive disease and limited prognosis - and is open to all, without distinction of race, gender, or creed. It is Lanarkshire's only Hospice and provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families, and carers.
