Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Team Tortoises & Hares JustGiving page.

We did it! And in 1 hr 26min 14 secs, faster than our target of 1hr 30 mins. Well done to the team and to our fabulous supporters. We have already put a few photos in our gallery (courtesy of Ray Anderson and Sarah) and will add more in the next few days from Barbara and Marion.

We ran the Chariots of Fire charity relay on Sunday 22 September following in the footsteps of the famous film, each of us running a 1.7 mile course in relay format. You will see from the photos the wonderful scenic route through the streets and colleges of Cambridge.

This year's Chariots of Fire charity is the Papworth Trust. Thank-you to everyone that has sponsored us to date. Please continue to donate and support this great charity via this page or text FAST67 followed by, for example, £5 to 70070. This page will remain open until December.

Please note that donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
