Story

Welcome to our Just Giving page and thanks for taking the time to support our event.

On the 23rd – 25th April this year we are attempting to circum-navigate the island of Anglesey on Mountain Bikes. The trip is about 125 miles and we plan to complete the journey in just over 2 days.

Not overly challenging you may say…. until you realize that the last time some of these guys were on a bike it said BMX on it and they had a bag of newspapers round their neck!

A mixed bunch of guys with the odd experienced charity campaigner who has done this sort of thing before to a couple of guys who only agreed to do it because the concept was hatched on a drunken night out!

Our aim is to raise money for a childrens charity who care for kids with terminal illnesses. Hope House provide care and support to children who will never become adults and their two sites in North Wales and Shropshire (Conwy and Oswestry) require over £3.5m million per year to continue the incredible work that they do. The charity is totally funded by donations and fundraising events like this and currently provides care and support for over 320 children and families with terminal illnesses.

We would really appreciate your donations however large or small to help us in making this a really worthwhile event for the children and families that rely on Hope House.
