The London Legal Support Trust supports the work of social welfare legal centres in London and the Home Counties. Funds raised are targeted to assist requests for help from the centres. This financial aid helps the legal centres overcome funding crises, develop new services, support appeals and improve their premises.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We have a team taking part in this year's London Legal Support Trust's Annual 10km fundraising walk on 17th May 2010 at 5.30pm. The Trust provides much needed funding to voluntary sector legal agencies in London and the South East that provide free legal advice to poor or disadvantaged members of the public.

We are walking in support of Tower Hamlets Law Centre, a charity based in East London which for over 35 years has provided much needed free legal advice to those living in some of the poorest communities in the United Kingdom.  In addition to the vital free legal advice and representation the Centre provides to those living in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, it also provides a range of  free legal services to those living in other East London boroughs.

Please donate to our team so that Tower Hamlets Law Centre can help more people than ever this year!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

The walk will be a similar 10 km route to previous years passing through the Temple to the Millennium Bridge, along the South Bank, up past Buckingham Palace, round Green Park, returning through St James Park and Horseguards Parade, then along the North of the river to the Law Society.
