Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I first started fundraising for Chestnut Tree House when I jumped out of a plane back in 2008!
I did this skydive in memory of Chloe Parker-Sheridan. A 6 year-old girl who was known as “The Princess” who passed away on 23 November 2007 after a battle with Batten's disease. She had been suffering from the rare neurological disorder for three years.
Towards the end of her life Chloe was cared for by Chestnut Tree Children's Hospice.
Since then, I have regularly supported Chestnut Tree House. Being the only Children’s Hospice in Sussex they urgently need our help to enable them to continue to care for over 280 children and young adults from 0-25 years of age with progressive life-limiting conditions from Sussex and South East Hampshire.
“There are potentially 1,000 families with life-limited children in Sussex. Chestnut Tree House offers support for the whole family including psychological and bereavement support, end of life and short break care and sibling support.
The hospice costs nearly £3 million per year to run. Families are never charged for their care and less than 8p in every pound is funded by the government, so we rely heavily on the generosity, help and support of the people of Sussex.” – Chestnut Tree House
I am walking with a group of Diddi Dance mums & friends who have joined together to meet the 10 mile Midnight Walk challenge in aid of Chestnut Tree House.
Please, please, please help us to make it a "Night to Remember" and reach our £500 target total by sponsoring us and donating any amount you can spare.
WE ARE: Joanna Burgum, Tracey Chapman, Sarah Cousins, Abby Mercer, Emma Murphy, Helen Neale, Joanna Oastler and Sam Stevens.
THANK YOU!!!
