Hello there ,

My son and his football team Discoveries Diamonds are playing in a football tournament in Blackpool on the 8/9 june. I thought what better way for myself to get there was to cycle for charity.

143 miles ahead of me an epic coast to coast cycle ride.

 

Thursday 6th june i am cycling from Grimsby to Blackpool for a loacal charity When you wish upon a star.                                      

I chose When you wish upon a Star, as my son is due to under go surgery on his throat soon and it puts it into perspective there are alot of other children worse off than our own. If you have healthy children you know what joy it brings to see them smile. This is something we should never take for granted and When You Wish Upon A Star can make a sick child's "Wish" a reality.

The courageous  children, many undergo more harsh and painful treatments than we as adults could ever imagine, the need to bring some magic into their lives is of paramount importance, not only for them, but their families who so bravely fight alongside them.

Please a small donation such as £2 all adds up and can make a child smile and have their last wish, lets bring a sparkle into their lives no matter how big or small.

Quite simply the more money they receive the more wishes they can grant.  I am currently standing at around £400 in sponsor money, please dig deep, you never know when you may need the help of these charity's .
