I attended the fabulous The Christie charity advent Style in the City 2 at the Hilton Manchester in July  where Barry Thompson the host launched ‘Barry’s Project 150 ’the aim to raise £150,000 in aid of The Christie building a new high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) room, as part of the Young Oncology Unit, where teenagers and young adults under cancer treatment can stay in a safe environment and an extra bed is provided for a family member to stay with them.

I too have pledged to help to raise money towards Barry's £150,000 target so I am hosting a candle party on the 25th October to which all commission will go towards this great cause. You to can help make this project a success by donating doesn't matter how much it is. In addition to the candle party I am selling raffle tickets for a £1 a strip where you can win Champagne, wine, chocolates, smelly's etc.. so if any of you would like to donate, look at the candle brochure or buy raffle tickets please let me know.

We all know of people who have or had cancer and this new building will help to make the children, young adults and their families a lot more comfortable during their stay there.I hope you can help.
