Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2008 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer aged just 44. It was not a new story in my life as I had lost my Mum in 2003 to Breast cancer so knew what was coming, but I was really not prepared for the ravages of the treatments that I had to endure. My photo is one taken when I was coming to the end of my treatment - I feel it epitomises the strength that I had to get through the physical trauma of chemotherapy. Mentally, I was supported by many new friends made at Bosom Buddies in Bristol - a charity who provides comfort, chat, information and also essential equiptment to a struggling NHS service to enable the healthcare teams to do their jobs more efficiently for us, the patients.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. One day, it could be you or your loved one.

THANK YOU!!!! Tdx
