<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: &amp;amp;quot; color: black;">In November I will be part of a team of 12 GMP officers and staff travelling to Ethiopia on 21st November 2011 in support of a local charity, RETRAK.<span> </span>Another 12 colleagues are travelling to Uganda on 5th November. The charity works with street children in several African countries. They reach out to vulnerable children to provide them with food, clothing, healthcare and education, addressing the reasons why children go on the street and this is done through income generation, family reunification and a foster care scheme. More than three-quarters of the children they deal with stay off the streets for good. More details are available on www.retrak.org </span></p>

We sold donated books, CDs, DVDs, sold cupcakes - everything donated by fantastically generous GMP officers and staff. We also had a dress down day and a car wash. <span style="color: #ff00ff;">All in all we raised £1190.</span></span></span></strong></p>
