On 25th April 2010 it is my aim to complete the Virgin London Marathon in support of Cancer Research Wales.

I will be following in the footsteps of two inspiration ladies in my life, my mother, who completed the London Marathon 20 years ago in the fantastic time of 3 hours and 44 minutes and my paternal grandmother, who in April 1996 completed the London Marathon at the age of 69, just two months shy of her 70 Birthday.

Sadly, like many people we lost my grandmother to cancer a few years back. It has therefore been an ambition of mine to compete in (and hopefully complete) the London Marathon for some years now and I am delighted to be running for such a good cause.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who visit this site and contribute, here's to many hours of happy running!!
