Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself , Rhona, John , Stevie and Jim are all abseiling off the Forth Rail Bridge on Sunday 11th October 2009.

As a Rhuematoid Arthritis sufferer I know the challenges that lie ahead when you are diagnosed at a young age with RA. Arthritis Care Scotland are my chosen charity as they have been a huge benefit to me whether it is going online to chat on one of their forums to speak to other people with RA or going on one of their self management courses. Any money raised in Scotland stays in Scotland for Arthritis Care and the money this year is being used towards Joint Potential which is for anyone aged 17 to 25 who have been diagnosed with Arthritis and offers self management courses which help with confidence, body image and chosing a career but also allows them to mix with other young people with arthritis. Arthritis can happen to anyone at any age from babies to old age and can have a huge impact on someones life.
