The Minithon has raised thousands of pounds for our club and local charities.
Last year our efforts enabled local charity The ACE Centre to purchase an Eye Gaze Unit, enabling people with severe disabilities to operate a computer solely by use of their eyes. Based in Oldham, ACE’s speech and language therapists, specialist teachers and occupational therapists work across England to enable those children, young people and adults with severe and complex communication difficulties to communicate effectively and "have a voice".
