Traveleads has provided corporate travel solutions to businesses throughout the UK and across the Yorkshire region for over 45 years. During this time we have witnessed many lives saved thanks to the efforts of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance team.
Many people assume air ambulances are funded by the NHS and that the cost of these services are met by the government - this isn't the case. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance has to raise over £12,000.00 every single day, to guarantee that when you, or someone you love, needs urgent medical attention they can get you to a hospital as quickly as possible. The precious time they save, really can be the difference between life and death.
No matter how old or young you might be, no matter how fit and healthy you are, no one ever thinks they will ever need the services of an air ambulance - hopefully none of us ever will, but we want to make sure that if the unthinkable happens the Yorkshire Air Ambulance will be there for you should you ever need it.
As a company we aim to walk 24,000 miles to raise money for the YAA. We set off on our journey on 1st April and hope to have walked around the world by the end of the summer. We'll post regular updates on our website, so come with us on our journey.
