Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We have accepted the challenge this year to participate in the 2013 St George's School Great Curry Run in aid of The Solders' Charity. The event will take place on Saturday, 27 April 2013 over three distances of 4km, 10km and 24km. The longest distance is 10 metres for each of the 2400 servicemen killed or wounded in action in Afghanistan since 2001 (as at 31 December 2012). Ellen is going to run 4k, Simon will cycle 24km and Heidi will walk 24km.
We will each be running in memory of a nominated solider killed in action. Our soldiers are:
Lance Corporal Tom Keogh - Aged 24 - A Company 4th Battalion The Rifles part of 3 Rifles Battle Group
Private Christopher Kershaw - Aged 19 - Yorkshire Regiment, 3rd Battalion
Guardsman Christopher King - Aged 20 - 1st Battalion Coldstrem Guards
