My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have been a sports fanatic since childhood as I was involved in various sports activities during school time. Running was something that I've always enjoyed. I haven't done a major marathon in my life and it has been my dream to do one and continue doing many more. Everyone run for a reason. My reason to run are because I enjoy running and it comes from me, to stay fit and feel strong and great about myself and boost confidence and also maintain a healthy lifestyle.
One day my Papa (Dad) suggested me if I could run for a charity. I, then and there decided to run for a big cause. I came across The Esther Benjamins Trust which really touched me, learning about the works they have been doing for Nepali Children in Nepal. It is also a charity founded by ex-British Army Dentist, Philip Holmes, in a memory of his wife who took her own life due to childlessness. I am very inspired by his story and how the trust has been providing and creating a new lives to children in Nepal. The charity mainly focuses on improving the lives of Nepal's most vulnerable and forgotten young children, including, innocent children who once lived in prisons, street children, deaf and disabled children and children who have been trafficked into India and sold into bonded labour as circus performers. The Esther Benjamins Trust has grown to become the leading UK registered charity that focuses solely on improving the lives of Nepal's most vulnerable children and young people.
This marathon will be very challenging for me and I would like to run for a good cause and show my support to the charity. This was a perfect opportunity for me to fulfill my desire to run a long distance. Having a Gurkha background and coming from a minority group in the UK, my aim is to inspire other youths in running. I support Health and Fitness.
I would like you to take time and read more about the EBT an their works.

My updates 5
London Marathon 2012 was a great experience. The most amazing thing about the marathon were the spectators all the way up to 26 miles. It's a life time achievement. I ran 26.2 miles in 5 hrs 12 mins. Thanks to all the supporters and sponsors. It was a successful run after all.
Less than a week for the marathon now. Staying focused these long has been difficult but why worry about that now. Hey, I'll be running this time next Sunday. My final preparation would be just fuel myself up with loads of carbs and rest & good sleep. Thanks for the support!
2 weeks to the big day and I feel excited & nervous at the same time. It has been an unforgettable journey so far since I started my fund raising in Sept last year. I am looking forward to the London Marathon day now.
My target is £1,800 but seeing the numerous support and donations coming last few weeks has been great! I thank you all for every penny & pounds you have dropped to show your support. Please keep them coming until the marathon day which is 22nd April.
