Story

My sister has had severe M.E. for 22 years are there is still no cure and a great lack of understanding about it, particularly in the medical profession.

One of its effects is that she has very little energy; walking to the toilet is like running a half marathon. At her worst, tiny activities (such as eating - even lying flat in bed) were enough to trigger a very painful collapse. Now she is well enough for occasional short wheelchair rides, while many of her friends remain bedbound.

A new film 'Voices from the Shadows' is out in January 2012 also to raise awareness and I hope to raise some money to support Research.
