Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Late this November Samaritan's Purse wrote to me to say that my name had been put up to go to Haiti to help out with treating the victims of the earthquake, the hurricane and floods. Samaritan's purse (as distinct from 'The Samaritans') is a UK based International Charity founde in 1990 and devoted to relief of large scale suffering. In Haiti in addition to the series of disasters occurring since January 2010 Cholera has broken out. Furthermore the island's infrastructure has been severely compromised by the disasters. Transport, water and power are all scarce. Adults and children are being brought into the makeshift clinics. I will be working in Haiti from 30th December to 18th January.

Please support Samaritans Purse. Small amounts of money make a large difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
