Run with Charlie - ElliptiGO Marathon · 20 June 2012

Climb Your Mountain (CYM) provides free outdoor activities and educational help so anyone can benefit by improving their confidence, self-esteem, health and wellbeing and thus climbing their own personal mountain.

Story

Hi All,  Wow - This is short notice - I've just agreed to do a Marathon with Charlie Wardle from the Climb Your Mountain Charity. And it's happening this friday!!!

Charlie is half way though the "Run with Charlie" fund raising challenge, where he is completing a marathon every day for 30 days.  Unfortunately, he picked up an ankle injury and can't run some of them, so I introduced him to the Elliptigo bike which enables him to "Run without the impact"  Have a look at www.elliptigo.co.uk to see what we mean.

Now those that know me will also know that I'm not the fittest.  I have however been riding the ElliptiGO for the last 4 weeks and generally ride about 10 miles at a time, so the marathon is going to be a challenge for me.  Please help by giving your support and making a donation.

Climb Your Mountain (CYM) is a health & wellbeing charity that has put on hundreds of free activities, events, trips and educational courses plus provided free books and support to hundreds of people over the last 3 years. However, there is a real need for funds so the charity can continue to deliver all these services and activities so that hundreds more people can benefit and £30,000 is required through 2012.

So many people have climbed their own personal mountain and benefited in a wide variety of ways since 2008 when the charity was set up. We want to make sure we can continue to offer so many opportunities both on the educational side and physical activities side so that hundreds more people can become healthier both physically and mentally.
Please be generous in supporting the charity and helping us raise the money required. Thank you
