<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">I have run a few marathons over the years, but this one is slightly different (part of a relay; running on my own; and starting out at 01:30hrs in the morning) and with the injury problems I have had these past 6 months this is going to be one hell of a challenge, so I would really appreciate your support.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">I have chosen this event as it is raising monies for a really important charity close to my heart and is also aiming to set a new World Record.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">As many of you will know, both my Mum and Uncle Brian died from brain tumours. Mum only lived for 9 days after her diagnosis and was only 60 years old when she died, but if more knowledge and information about brain tumours had been out there then may be something could have been done for her months earlier when (in hindsight) her symptoms first revealed themselves. It is for this reason that I want to raise monies for Brain Tumour UK and help them to save others from the fate that my Mum experienced and the trauma that we as a family went through.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">If you could give generously then I would really appreciate it and all being well we'll raise a lot of money for a very worthy cause and be part of a new World Record to boot.</span></p>
