The Twilight Walk - Windsor · 16 October 2016 ·
In 2013 our cousin Theo was diagnosed with a brain tumour (Pilocytic Astrocytoma or JPA) at the tender age of just two.
He has had to go through 18 months of chemotherapy as the tumour was to dangerous to remove. He has had numerous blood transfusions and hospital check ups. This led to many side effects for Theo but he continues to be a happy little boy and is living life!
Theo is now 4 and looking forward to starting his new journey in big school.
Myself and 8 year old daughter Taya will be taking part in the 10k Twilight Walk in Windsor on 16th October for The Brain Tumour Charity who have started research to raise money for Paediatric Low Grade Brain Tumour Research.
This is the first of its kind in the UK/ Europe . This will be a real opportunity to bring about changes to children living with a brain tumour.
