Peter's Commute 2014 · 27 June 2014 ·

Makomborero works to relieve poverty in Zimbabwe through education. We do this by enabling deprived, talented students to complete their education & attain excellent grades in their A-levels. Makomborero gives students the chance to fulfil their undeniable potential & gives them hope and a future.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Peter's commute is inspired by the story of Peter Msongelwa, an A level student in rural Zimbabwe who used to walk 15 miles to school each day, the group are raising money for the charity Makomborero, which is doing amazing work to help to young people in similar positions. If Peter can walk 15 miles before completing a day’s schooling, then walk 15 miles back home, we ought to be able to manage 6 miles in the morning before school.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, I am so appreciative and I know it will make a huge difference in the lives of many!
