Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing specialist, palliative care and support to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and ultimately end of life care.

Story

The Firewalk Challenge

On the 12th October my brother and I will walk bare foot over red hot wood embers which are above a scorching 800°F in temperature!!!!!

Yes we must be mad but those who know us and knew our Dad will know exactly how much St Lukes means to us and why we are doing this.

Well when I said Id walk over hot coals for St Lukes............!!!

The Midnight Walk

There isnt enough miles on the planet to thank these people for what they did for my Dad and us but its a start!.......Its a crime that this place survives on charity alone.....

My amazing friend Gilly will be with me, as she was on the day we said goodbye to Gordy and every other single day ive needed her, as we trek 13.1 miles in the middle of the night with Gordy holding our hand every step of the way (and joining in a few singsongs no doubt :) x

Please dig deep for this truely wonderful place

Miss you Daddy xx

Soul For St Lukes

A massive thank you to all those fantastic people who attended the Northern Soul fundraiser in memory of my amazing Dad. We raised £820 for St Lukes (Cheshire) Hospice.

Many people who were unable to attend the event have asked if there is any way they can donate to St Lukes in memory of "Gordo" so Ive set up this page to continue raising money for this wonderful place to help them continue the truly amazing work they do.

For those of you who have had family and friends in St Lukes you will understand why our family is so passionate about helping them to carry on helping familes like ours.

In my Dads final days he was so content, relaxed, clean and not at all scared. He fell asleep so peacefully because these wonderful people had made his beloved family at ease with what was about to happen and most of all they gave him his dignity back.

We will never be able to thank them enough for what they did but we will do our best!!!!

I love Dad you are a true hero xxxx
