This year I am doing the London royal parks half marathon in order to raise money for a great charity called the Eve appeal. I will be running 13.1 mile (21km) through the royal parks of London. This is the first time I have ever done a fundraising event and I would be deeply grateful for any donations big or small!

Gynaecological cancers are the world's fourth largest cancer killer of women.

Every year a million women  are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer worldwide.  In the UK, 18,000 women are diagnosed and nearly 7,500 women die every year. And yet, awareness and funding of gynaecological cancers remains low.

The Eve Appeal is determined to change this by funding vital research focused on developing effective methods of prediction, detection, treatment and care that will help save women's lives not only in the UK but throughout the world.
