Bulgaria Summer Camp 

 

Every summer a lack of government funding forces Lipnitsa Orphanage/School to shut during school holidays. For Lipnitsa’s abandoned and disadvantaged children the ‘holidays’ mean life on the streets or back in poverty stricken communities where prostitution, drugs and violence are very real dangers.

 

Will you help The Trussell Trust to give these kid's a summer to remember for the right reasons?

 

Every year we run a Summer Camp at the Black Sea, giving Lipnitsa’s most vulnerable children a real holiday where they feel safe and loved. Ten days of regular food, fun and positive attention does wonders for these youngsters. We have seen children like Gregor and Niki change from “problem” kids, who suffered bullying because of their learning difficulties, to fully accepted members of their peer group.

 

It costs just £10 per day per child to provide food and board in Kranevo.

£100 will pay for one child to have 10 days' holiday.
