For over 30 years, Tusk has helped pioneer a range of successful conservation initiatives across more than 20 African countries, safeguarding millions of hectares of ecosystems, empowering local communities and increasing protection for some of the continent's most treasured threatened species.

Story

TSAVO TRUST has put together a team of 5 runners including members of the local community, to take part in the Tusk Safaricom Marathon 2016. Given that it is regarded as one of the toughest marathons in the world, you might call it madness … we call it dedication to a cause! All have been undergoing a vigorous training program, directed by our highly qualified ‘coach’ Richard Moller TSAVO TRUST’S CEO, whose 'secret' tactic is to make sure we run amongst the wildlife here in Tsavo, which should give us an advantage in the form of knowing how to dodge the elephant and stalking predators without “breaking rhythm” in his own words. Please support and help the TSAVO TRUST team raise our targeted £5000 for Tusk Trust and all the very worthy conservation projects they support Kenya (Including the TSAVO TRUST).
