It's that time of year again, the UK Charity All-Stars tournament is back in 2017 at Cardiff's Ice Arena Wales and this year I have the privilege of being captain of Team Ty Hafan

I represented the charity previously and it was a great honour to support a charity so local that does such fantastic work for children who require the care they provide.

This year, as Captain, it's my job to ensure we go the extra mile to improve on last year's total and pay for THREE full days of Ty Hafans running costs - £33,000 

After visiting the hospice during my fundraising I was staggered just how wonderful a facility it is and how much it benefits those who need it, including the families of the children affected by various life limiting conditions.

This level of care doesn't come cheap and this is why the Tournament has chosen to support this Charity again and why every penny is so vital and appreciated.

I've been a hockey fan since 2003 and the UK Forum All Stars gives me a chance to give something to charity through a sport that's given my family and I so much.
