Hello, Thank you for visiting our just giving page.
Our plan is to cycle 900 miles from Lands End to John o’ Groats over 14 days (camping for 11 of these nights).
Route – Lands End, Doublebois (near Liskeard), Nomansland (near Tiverton), Nailsea, Hereford, Brownmoss (near Whitchuch), Barton (near Preston), Ambleside (Lake District), Kirkpartrick (near Dumfries), Catrine (near Kilmarnock), Succoth (Loch Lomand), Fort William, Inverness, Brora, John o’ Groats
We are doing this cycle for Cool Earth - http://www.coolearth.org/
Cool Earth is a charity that aims to protect areas of rainforest to combat global warming and to provide sustainable jobs in the local communities around the rainforest.
Cool earth is a fantastic way of combating Global warming as each acre that they protect locks up 260 tonnes of CO2 (people in the UK emit around 10 tonnes per year).
Our Aim is to protect 5 acres of rainforest at a cost of £360 (£60 per acre).
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cool Earth gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
