Story

Maybe it is boredom that I find myself needing to get out and do something. Or maybe I just like dragging my tyre around. London marathon, instead of being my last dragging a tyre, became my mojo. I had lost focus in the London marathon and screwed up my race. So remorse about London made me determined to do 10 marathons over 10 months pulling my tyre in 2010. Having got thru 2010 without any injuries, have now decided to go for 100 marathon with tyre by 2020.

At the same time I intend to raise awareness about being sustainable. We in the developed nations consume resources like no tomorrow. Our economic models are unsustainable if man is to continue to live on this world and maintain its biodiversity. Sustainabilty needs to come before profits and the general population can effect change in our economic model by consuming less. Less shopping means less waste and less resources consumed. Shop for what we need and not in excess. It's a drag to change our ways but "Don't wait....Be the change!"

I am supporting EarthWatch who has a socio-ecological mission to bring together different cultures, to research into our environmental impact and educate those who become involved. At the same time their research can form the basis to help change the attitudes and behaviours of corporates.

10 Marathons were completed in 2010
11 Marathons were completed in 2011
3 Marathons were completed in 2012

And now it starts again in 2013
