Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hi. I'm Tyrr and I've been selected to take part in the St John International Cadet Competition in South Africa representing Wales with other Cadets. This is an opportunity of a lifetime and I'm so excited for the journey ahead. As part of my place on the trip I need to fundraise £1000 towards the costs, so please donate to help me raise this money which will go towards St John International youth opportunities now and in the future.
I joined St John Cadets as an 11 year old, 6 years ago, and looking back I have made great progress in my learning first aid and giving back to the community through attending public events as a first aider. I have achieved my Grand Prior Award, the Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award and am now completing the Gold level. I am due to start the Amalfi Challenge Award shortly. I help at Cadets with the younger members and am also a Badger helper for our 5 to 10 year olds. I am so excited for this opportunity that I have earned through my hard-work and dedication to St John and it is truly a trip of a lifetime and dream to have been selected on what was a very competitive selection process.
A huge part of the challenge is to fund raise towards my place on the trip and to be involved in various other St John Youth activities. Going forward I hope to help encourage other Cadets to get involved in the various opportunities available locally, regionally, nationally and internationally and get them involved in the rewarding role fundraising can offer. I know with the support of my family, friends and the Division I am confident I will fund raise what's needed and I look forward to telling you all about it. Thank you for your donations, it means so much to me and the division to help the youth of Aberystwyth achieve their dreams and aspirations.
