Rotary Scholar Three Peaks Challenge 2013 · 21 April 2013

ShelterBox work to ensure that vulnerable families around the world have life-saving emergency shelter, and other essential tools and aid items, after disaster strikes. Be it an earthquake, flood, conflict or hurricane, we are there for those most in need.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the RIBI Scholar team fundraising page.

This 15th of June, a small group of Rotary International scholars from around Great Britain and Ireland joined together to take on the UK's Three Peaks Challenge. We hiked the highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales to raise funds and awareness for ShelterBox. ShelterBox, a Rotary International creation, provides emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies at the time of a disaster.

We would greatly appreciate any support you can give to this cause!

As a team, our goal was to raise 5,000 pounds for ShelterBox. These funds will allow ShelterBox to deliver emergency shelter and other lifesaving equipment to 8 families who have lost everything following a disaster. We have already met this goal, but hope to raise further funds to help even more families. To learn more about ShelterBox, visit the website:http://www.shelterbox.org/
