Ummah Welfare Trust was founded to challenge the huge poverty and injustice prevalent in the Ummah today. Inspired by the Islamic teachings of empathy and selflessness, the charity strives to support and uplift the impoverished through the beautiful act of charity.

Story

Asalaamu Alaykum wr wb

This Charity Week, Kingston University Islamic Society are raising funds for Medical clinics in Haiti and Kashmir where they do not have many facilities of this kind.

The money donated will provide a salary for the doctors so the patients can use the facilities for free, it will also go towards paying for the medicine they need and overall costs of the clinics. The locals in both Haiti and Kashmir earn incredibly low salaries so its very important that they have access to free healthcare.

"And spend [in the way of Allah ] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous." 63:10

Please donate whatever you can and may Allah increase you in all that is good, ameen.
