<p><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; text-align: left;">Welcome to the Justgiving page for UWLHC, Fundraising for the Debbie Phillips Cervical Cancer Research Fund at UCL Cancer Trust.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Next month the club are taking on the gruelling Shakespeare Half Marathon in Stratford-upon-Avon.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">We aren't just running for the challenge (and pain), but we are running to raise money for the Debbie Fund.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">The Debbie Fund is set up in memory of Debbie Phillips, who died of Cervical Cancer. Cervical Cancer is pretty much symptomless and by the time it was discovered in Debbie it was too late. During the progression of Debbie’s disease, it became apparent that there was no dedicated research into drug treatment specifically for Cervical Cancer, but for Debbie it was too late. Debbie Fund was set up to raise funds to ensure that necessary research could be carried out by a team of scientists at University College London.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;;">The Debbie Fund has set up a lab in UCL and there are a team of scientists who have already begun to make some breakthroughs in their research, but they still need more money to fund their investigations. Through supporting this charity, perhaps one day there will be a woman who will be able to say that she was cured of Cervial Cancer thanks to the Debbie Fund.</span></p>
