Today Tuesday 24 May, we carried water around Queen's Park - that's 4km! - to help raise money for two brilliant projects supported by our school.

Children at our partner school in Mbollet-ba in The Gambia, West Africa have to walk up to 6km at the end of the day to get fresh water. The money we raise will build a village water supply to make things easier for families there.

We're also raising money for Salusbury World, our centre that helps children arriving from other parts of the world to get used to living and going to school in the UK. (You can find out more about them here: http://www.salusburyworld.org.uk)

Whatever you can give will help make a HUGE difference. Thank you

Uffa and Ralph

Well done! Clean water is something we take for granted in UK. In South African villages, it is a precious and rationed commodity. Donation by Mike Rowe on 26/05/11
