OSCAR Dragon Boat Race 2019 · 13 September 2019 ·

We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Last year the Union Maritime Team took part in the dragon boat race for the OSCAR Campaign and WON!

This year we aim to do more than beating our fundraising total last year but we can't do this without your help.

The race will take place on Friday September 13th 2019.

Thank you for your support

About the OSCAR Campaign:

The OSCAR Campaign raises funds towards areas of urgent need at Great Ormond Street Hospital and its research partner, the UCL Institute of Child Health. The campaign is raising money to support priority areas of research, the results of which will improve children’s lives not just at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children but worldwide.

The campaign is led by Phil Parry, Chairman of Spinnaker Global, whose son Oscar was diagnosed with leukemia at just three years old. Oscar received three life-saving transplants at GOSH, one of which was a ground-breaking stem cell transplant. He is living proof of the importance of pioneering research.
