Story
Hi All,
Our very own Kevin Moore has set himself up for a gruelling challenge this September. It has been a while since we have took to English roads so he has decided to not only cycle but run too!!!
He will start it off on Friday 09th September from Morecambe where he will cycle two of three days of the way of the roses coast to coast with work colleagues. Partaking in the two tough hilly days. He will then rush home and rest up for the Great North Run on Sunday 11th September.
The Way of the Roses is a relatively new coast to coast cycle route from Morecambe on the north west coast of the UK to Bridlington in the east, taking in some of the most stunning and breath-taking scenery along the way. It is a challenging route consisting of a variety of terrain including traffic-free paths, on-road cycle lanes, country lanes and quieter roads. However, it comes with it's difficult times, approximately 8,000ft of climbing and 170 miles of pain will come with the scenery and nice cake stops.
Then on the Sunday we all know what the Great North Run entails, 13 miles of running torcher. Hell, as Kev likes to call it. When he reaches South Shields he will have put his body through pain only imaginable unless you do these activities on a regular basis.
We wish him all the best.
Again the team appreciates every single donation made to these amazing charities who strive to help saves lives.
