We harness the power of play to educate & empower disadvantaged children

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Friday Week 9 will see every single member of UWMFC taking part in a Charity 24hr run in order to raise over £1000 for Right To Play.

Right To Play is an organization that utilises sports programs to improve health, develop life skills, and foster peace for children and communities in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world.

Right To Play trains local community leaders as Coaches to deliver programs in more than 20 countries affected by war, poverty, and disease in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

The 24hr run will consist of each member of the club taking part in a gruelling 90 minute run around campus dressed as Santa. They will battle the weather conditions as we run throughout the night and your support will definitely be needed!

So as a club, we encourage you now to think of the children, and give generously during this festive period.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

If you want to make a donation on a behalf of an individual member of the club just include his name in your donation message.

So please dig deep and donate now.
