The VCMF is a fund I set up in memory of my dear mum who left a huge hole in all our lives on December 8th 2008 when she lost her short battle with cancer aged just 50. This page is to keep her memory alive whilst supporting others.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We will be cycling 100 miles around London and Essex to help raise more awareness and most importantly money to help others being affected by the dreaded cancer.

Many families are affected by this horrible illness including us.

Chloe’s Nan (Adam’s Mum) heartbreakingly lost her fight against Cancer so in her memory we will be cycling for her. Our friend Jade Cox also lost his fight so we will also be cycling for him. During Jade’s fight, himself and his family were supported by YOUNG LIVES VS CANCER.

Alex and his family have also been badly effected by Cancer. He sadly lost his brother at a young age so he will be cycling in memory of him.

With our training for this event hampered by injuries, Covid and university assignments this is going to be our hardest challenge.

We want to spread and make more people understand the importance of the care needed for the young people and the support their families need during these terrible times.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
