Caring Matters Now is the only UK charity supporting children and adults affected by Congenital Melanocytic Naevi (CMN) - a genetic condition, consisting of dark brown hairy birthmarks covering up to 80% of the body. The condition has many expressions, some of which can lead to medical complexities

Story

My eldest daughter Jodi was born in 1980 with Congenital Melanocytic Naevi. The first 15 years were marked by isolation and loneliness, as we knew of no other family affected by this rare condition. This made us determined that families affected in the future would have somewhere to turn to where they would find understanding and support - so
20 years ago we began Caring Matters Now . Since then our charity has developed and achieved more than we ever imagined possible and so we have much to celebrate!

As I have the privilege and honour of being Chair of Trustees - in a mad moment - I thought I would celebrate the 20th Anniversary of  Caring Matters Now by taking on a challenge! This also gives me the opportunity to raise some money for the ongoing work of  our charity.

I would greatly appreciate it if you would support me in my challenge by making a donation - THANK YOU!
