Myself and 3 other girls are participating in a Total Warrior running event. Not just a run, but a 12K run with 30 gruelling obstacles!  

This is a personal challenge for me. Before signing up to this ridiculous event, I had never even ran 5K, let alone 12K with obstacles. It has given me something to strive for and push what I thought I was capable of. 

Alongside pushing my personal boundaries, I am raising money for Heart Research UK. As many people know, I had life saving heart surgery at 3 months old. Without the hard work and dedication of not only the doctors and nurses, but also the research teams, I would not be here today. 

I believe that other people affected with heart problems, whether that be personal, someone they love, or someone they know, should have the same support me and my family had. 

The charities' research helps the understanding of heart conditions go from strength to strength. This helps combat heart problems with prevention, treatments and cures. 

This charity is national but puts money into local areas to fund hospital treatments. 

Any donations to help this fantastic charity would be greatly appreciated. Every penny raised will go towards helping hearts!
