The Luke Campbell Challenge 2016 is fast approaching! It is that time when we start to ask for donations. This year we are taking on the 3 peak challenge on the 8th July.
The reason we set up the challenge last year was to raise funds for Claire House Hospice in Luke's name. Luke as you will all know was born with a heart condition in 2011 and after a number of major operations was placed on palliative care early in 2014. Everyday Luke show great courage and strength continuing to live his life to the full. The below picture was taken on this 5th birthday dressed in his superman costume, showing as we all know the hero that he is.
When Luke was placed on palliative care Claire House offered their services, they have planned days out for Luke, they have given much needed counselling to Luke's family and take Luke for a day in there centre for him to play with children in similar situations. They have done so much for Luke and his family and that is why all funds raised from the challenge go directly to Claire House Hospice. All these funds are marked in Luke's name and after the Excalibur challenge in 2014, the Anglesey challenge 2015 and a number of colour runs/ other funds raising events Luke's fundraising pot is getting bigger and bigger.
If you have a spare pound or two to sponsor a fantastic charity and raise funds in Luke’s name we would appreciate it.
