I was listening to the radio and heard about parachute jumping and I immediately thought I could do that. At the young age of 83 years old I did not see that as a problem, in my earlier years I think I would have been petrified. I have had wet Macular Disease for a number of years. Macular Disease robs people of their central vision which means they cannot read, watch television or recognise friends and family while out.
I will be taking part in a Tandem Jump on the 12th June at Hinton air field near Brackley; I would have preferred to jump on my own, but they won't let me.
There is no cure for Macular Disease at present, and with the future in mind and with your help I want to raise lots and lots of money for the Macular Disease Society Research Fund. Your Help and Your Support would be greatly appreciated
