I am running the 2010 London marathon. This fantastic event is an opportunity for me to take on one of the biggest physical challenges I have gone for (yet!) but is also an opportunity to raise money for a chosen organisation. 

I am hoping to raise £1000 for Action for Southern Africa (ACTSA). ACTSA was set up in 1994 after South Africa's first free elections. The money I raise will go toward their campaigning work, which includes gender issues and HIV and AIDS. Previous campaigns have included "Dignity! Period." which distributed over 6 million sanitary pads to women in Zimbabwe.
