My story

The MicroLoan Foundation is a truly inspired idea: it helps some of the poorest people in the world become self-sufficient via the provision of small loans and business training.  Within only four months, 99% of loans are repaid to the charity in full – so cash is recirculated.  This is therefore a very different approach to charity.  People who are living on less than 62p per day ($1) are helped to develop self-sustainable livelihoods, to feed, clothe and educate their families, and work their own way out of the poverty trap. 

Your donation - large or small - can change the lives of struggling families for ever. 

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and will also make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
